FBO - Brisbane Jetbase
The Brisbane Jet Base is Brisbane’s premier private FBO (Fixed Base Operation) passenger terminal facility located at the general aviation apron on Brisbane Airport.
The Brisbane Jet Base is a 24/7 ground handling operation with full tarmac access servicing both domestic and international aircraft movements in close proximity to the Brisbane domestic and international passenger terminals which are capable of handling all aircraft types up to and including Boeing 747, Antonov 124 and a vast array of military aircraft.
The comfort of guests, pilots and crew members travelling on private, executive and VIP flights is paramount to the Brisbane Jet Base team with all requests catered for.
The Brisbane Jet Base Terminal incorporates a discreet VIP lounge for up to twelve guests in comfort, a commuter terminal for up to 90 passengers, a pilot’s lounge equipped with kitchen, cable TV, computer workstation, wireless internet, shower facilities, restrooms and more.
The services provided by the Brisbane Jet Base include but are not restricted to:-

B. Commercial and technical capacity
Adagold is celevrating its 20th Anniversary in 2012, with the Brisbane Jet Base being incorporated in 2001. We are proud to be a global market leader.
An important factor is our position as an independent broker in both charter and FBO operations. This ensures a no bias, nil allegiance or restriction scenario when selecting aircraft for operational capabilities.
Both Adagold and the Brisbane Jetbase have established a strong reputation for credibility and integrity amongst a substantial number of worldwide aircraft owners, operators and FBO organisations.
Adagold is able to source a wide variety of aircraft from a global pool immediately upon receiving our client’s request for a robust and economical solution. A telephone call to an Adagold Team Member can lead to instant quotations and operational planning.
Many airlines will commit to aircraft movements on the verbal advice of an Adagold Charter Manager 24/7. Adagold’s most valuable assets are intangible concepts, such as knowledge, experience and reputation.
In commercial terms, Adagold’s primary roles include the planning of the best logistical solutions, aircraft management and task organisation. The client contracts directly with Adagold and this is their only commercial transaction.
Adagold has many standard contracts which may be drawn up at a moment's notice and adapted to a particular client’s needs and circumstances.
Liabilities for aircraft, crew and related matters are covered by the operator’s Air Operator’s Certificate. Adagold ensures that all operators have appropriate licences, insurances and a high standard of maintenance, safety, pilot check and training procedures.
In addition, Adagold carries public liability insurance. These commercial arrangements are intended to give maximum protection and assurance to the client.
The technical aspects of each charter, such as crew requirements, maintenance, safety, load requirements and so on, are of primary concern to Adagold. All Adagold Aviation staff ensure the highest standards are met in these areas through a selection process.
There are literally thousands of aircraft owners and operators throughout Australia, however, as Australia’s leading Aviation Management and Charter Service, we only accept on our register those companies which meet our exacting standards of safety, maintenance and crew procedures.
C. Aircraft fleet
Adagold does not own, operate or have any financial interest in any aircraft. This decision has been designed to uphold Adagold’s status as an independent air charter service company.
Adagold views this as a major strength as it allows un-feted access to any aircraft type from any operator anywhere in the world.
Adagold’s robust relationship with numerous domestic, regional and international airlines and operators provides our clients with rapid response times and flexibility over an extensive range of aircraft.
All aircraft, operators and crews are carefully screened by Adagold for suitability.
D. Operational History
In brief:
Adagold proudly holds a Deed of Standing Offer with the Commonwealth Government of Australia. This allows Adagold to provide services at short notice on behalf of the Government!
This privileged position was awarded to Adagold after years of diligent, professional service and close scrutiny. This status is held by a very select number of Australian companies.
Adagold has previously been contracted to the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet to provide air transport services for Government Ministers, visiting dignitaries and Heads of State. This included flying the then Australian Prime Minister, Mr John Howard, throughout Banda Ache Indonesia onsite inspections.
Adagold currently provides air transport services to the Department of Immigration for the movement of Detainees within Australia and the South Pacific region.
For the period 2002-2005, Adagold was contracted to service the Australian Defence Forces in Iraq and Afghanistan with a weekly heavy lift freighter that maintained a dispatch reliability of 99.75%. This standard of service is virtually unheard of in the Aviation Industry.
Adagold continues to provide substantial logistical support for Australian Defence Forces throughout the Commonwealth of Australia, East Timor, The Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea and many other parts of the world.
Adagold has provided contract aviation support to the United Nations mobilising personnel and freight into and out of East Timor and South East Asia.
Adagold were heavily committed to supporting the official Australian relief response to the 2004 Tsunami disaster in South East Asia. Adagold successfully tendered for three contracts to support the relief effort. The commitment involved heavy lift freighters, commuter aircraft and passenger airliners.
Adagold was also the successful tenderer in a Department of Defence contract to provide logistical support for the movement of munitions and weaponry including heavyweight defence vehicles.
A three year appointment as the official aviation supplier to the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race also tested Adagold’s resolve. With the adverse weather conditions in the 2004/2005 race, Adagold’s services were called upon with results meeting and exceeding expectations all round.
Adagold has, on countless occasions, provided discreet and prompt services to the entertainment industry including, but not restricted to, movie stars, musicians, performers and even full orchestras.
Adagold enjoys a very positive working relationship with a myriad of corporate clients, entertainment entities, airlines, medical facilities, non-government organisations, mining and energy consortiums and sporting groups.
During the 2004 ski season, Adagold successfully operated charter services for and on the behalf of Mt Hotham Ski Company, into Mt Hotham airport. Mt Hotham is Australia’s highest airport and is subject to regular snow and ice contamination with considerable adverse weather conditions. For the first time ever, the CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) reviewed and approved night time operations for the Dash-8 aircraft into Mt Hotham, something not achieved by any other operator. These flights were acknowledged as a resounding success.
Adagold is also adept in the provision of logistical solutions to the entertainment industry providing shuttle flights to remote Australian locations for 250 cast and crew on the $US280M Hollywood production of “Stealth”. An additional Boeing 747-400 flight was also provided from Sydney to Chang Mai in Thailand to relocate the cast and crew for further production commitments.
Adagold’s involvement in the Australian Mining and Energy sectors boasts a vast catalogue of solutions that has spanned everything from fly in / fly out operations in Dash 8’s, Convair’s, Metroliner’s and Fokker F100’s to executive and VIP aircraft such as Cessna Citation and Global Express Jets for the movement of board members, investors and executive management teams to name a few.
Adagold currently provides aircraft solutions for mining and energy operations in various parts of Papua New Guinea.
In 2006, Adagold were proud to be awarded cargo and passenger contracts with the Australian Defence force to support operations into and out of Dili – East Timor. Adagold continues to provide ad-hoc services to East Timor for Australian Forces.
Adagold’s provision of services has also been tested by religious orders around the globe. Adagold has provided safe, secure and discreet aircraft and ground support for spiritual leaders from various denominations with continued success.
Adagold has vast experience in providing logistical support in the provision of aircraft for both passenger and freight movements including close association with the travel industry to offer full reservation services including ticketing and other travel related products both domestically and internationally.
