Unlike many other helicopters, all seats in the Bell 222 face forward. The cabin is fitted with an electronic Active Noise Reduction (ANR) system and the aircraft is air-conditioned, to ensure a comfortable ride.
The aircraft is capable of lifting up to 1 tonne on the external cargo hook (sling load), making it suitable for not only passenger charters, but also for a range of cargo related charter requirements.
One of the most exciting things about the introduction of this this unique charter aircraft is the fact that it will allow larger groups to fly directly from the Brisbane area into one of South East Queensland’s hottest growth regions - the Surat Basin. Time-poor executives, geologists, consultants or investors can fly from Brisbane, Gold coast, Sunshine coast or Archerfield Airports into a Surat Basin mine site in around 1.5 hours.
Projects based around the areas of Miles and Chinchilla can be reached from the Brisbane area in around 1 hour, while charter flights from Brisbane into areas such as Taroom or Wandoan can be flown in around 1.5 hours.
The obvious advantage over fixed-wing aircraft is the ability to not only fly all over the chosen area/site at low levels to gain a full appreciation of the terrains geography or geology, but also to land at any time that it’s safe to do so and then continue on to other locations in the shortest possible time.
According to Adagold’s General Manager Commercial, Jeff Eager “A rotary wing aircraft as large as this has been missing from the area, and so it’s proving very popular amongst all kinds of groups. With Brisbane airport congestion proving to be a real time stealer, this is a fantastic new option for South East Queensland.”
This new charter aircraft will provide a new level of flexibility and convenience for corporate or mining groups looking for fast and hassle-free access into remote mining sites.
The Bell 222 is available for immediate charter. Contact Adagold now to learn more about this new Queensland Helicopter charter opportunity.
