Work Experience/professional history?
I have gained over 36 years in the Aviation Sector encompassing a long career in the Military with both the Royal Australian Air Force and as a Foreign Service National with the United States Air Force. I have extensive experience leading and developing teams on the ground within the Commercial Airline sectors and for the past couple of years in the space of Aviation Charter.
Role and main work activities at Adagold?
My main role as a Charter Specialist is to assist clients to find the perfect solution for their air charter needs. I invest time in building and developing strong business relationships with aircraft operators and clients to leverage the best collaborative outcome. My aviation background also allows me to diversify within the business in support of other long-term ventures and projects.
What do you most enjoy about working at Adagold?
The team – the whole team, from the top down. We may hold different titles and different positions within the business, but we work collaboratively, with our own individual depth of knowledge to produce the best outcome. Feeling valued and being acknowledged for the work you do is a crucial component to a positive workplace culture and Adagold wins hands down here. We laugh, we joke, we have fun but we get the job done.
Activities/hobbies out of work, what do you love to do?
I am an avid triathlete and runner. Competing in Ironman events domestically and internationally is so much fun (and not to mention, hard work). Spending time with the grandkids makes my heart happy, as does pottering around in the garden. I am currently renovating my forever home and loving it!
Favourite travel destination?
I’ve travelled the world quite extensively and would have to say to date Copenhagen is my fav.
I am so much in love with my two dogs Mr Baxter and Spare Dog, along with Hertie and Gertie, my two chickens.
Food – yes please! Any and all. Nom – nom – nom.
