Falcon 2000 Tour
Attendees at the event were taken for a tour and photo opportunity inside a Falcon 2000 to experience a taste of what is available for private charter within Australia. This privately owned Falcon is kept in perfect condition with a fresh and sleek interior. Seating up to 8 passengers, this Falcon reaches cruising speed, at altitude, close to 880 kilometres per hour. The Falcon can also cover a range of 7700 kilometres, putting this jet into a category faster than some of the larger long-range business jets and commercial airliners.
Caviar Tasting
Caviar tasting at the event was lead by the wonderfully passionate Lisa Downs, Caviar Ambassador from Simon Johnson Caviar. An advocate for the finer points of caviar tasting, Lisa shared tips for the absolute enjoyment of the delicacy.
Throughout the tasting, attendees were guided through the optimal way to savour caviar. In particular, allowing the caviar to rest on your hand long enough to melt into your skin and become the same temperature as your blood was a revelation to all.
Fontayne Selections
French native Julien Craeye, from Fontayne Selections, grew up in Troyes, in northeastern France. Surrounded by, and immersed in, the rich wine heritage of the region, he shared his knowledge and experience of the wonderful Champagne from his home province during the event.
Julien also exclusively introduced Champagne from the 95-year-old house of Laurenti. The tasting of these fine and elegant Champagnes paired with the caviar was a wonderful experience.
