Dreaming of flashing lights, paparazzi, gorgeous gowns and brushing shoulders with the fashion elite?
Australia’s premier fashion event, Melbourne Fashion Festival is fast approaching, and a VIP experience is the only way to really immerse yourself in the glamour of the catwalk. Whether you’re entertaining corporate partners or investors, organising a team outing or enjoying a weekend away with the girls, Melbourne Fashion Festival is sure to impress!
The full festival experience
You don’t have to be a diehard fashionista to enjoy the enchantment of the catwalk. Think elaborate garments, flawless choreography and artistic lighting. Fashion is an art form at Melbourne Fashion Festival; there’s no doubt about it. Turn the event into an experience to remember with VIP tickets to the opening Gala Runway, presented by David Jones. This means the best seats in the house, flowing champagne and grazing platters, unlimited access to the Fashion Lounge and even an exclusive behind the scenes tour!
Arriving in style
Really engulf yourself in luxury by travelling in style, via private jet and limousine. Skip airport queues and haggling for a taxi by relaxing and sipping a glass of champagne in your Louis Vuitton’s while Adagold Luxe takes care of everything. It’s a week of style, and you’re part of it. Arrive at your event like a model in your shining limousine; there’ll be no such thing as getting to the show late, frazzled and with your chic outfit wrinkled! You’ll be sleek, glamorous and ready for the evening ahead.
Shop til you drop
The best part of the festival? Apart from the elegance of the catwalk, there’s also the opportunity to take part in one of Melbourne’s most historic traditions: shopping. Whether you’re after the timeless style and world-renowned brands on Collins Street or searching for quirky vintage pieces on Chapel street, you’ll be spoilt for choice. Shop the runway or be inspired by this season’s looks to create your own. Why not stop for a coffee in one of Melbourne’s iconic laneways? Or drop into Melbourne Museum and surround yourself with the historic culture of Victorian fashion in the debut exhibition “You Can’t Do That;” exploring how six Melbourne fashion figures broke the boundaries of style.
Past Melbourne fashion shows have seen the likes of well-known labels Cue, Carla Zampatti, Dion Lee, Gorman, Jack London and Romance Was Born grace their stages. While the Melbourne Fashion Festival lineup hasn’t seen an official release as of yet, there’s sure to be an eclectic variation of garments present. Sydney based brand, Ginger and Smart have been announced as the 2018 Grand Showcase designers, debuting their AW18 collection.
